Julia Mai (Jennings) Barrett, 90, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away August 23, 2016, at Franklin Meadows in Franklin, Indiana. She was born May 28, 1926, in Jackson, Tennessee, the daughter of Carl R. and Ethel M. (Wallace) Jennings. She married Lowell D. Barrett November 25, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1991.
Mrs. Barrett was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Edinburgh.
She is survived by a son, Tim (Rhonda) Barrett of Edinburgh; a grandson, Seth Barrett of Edinburgh; and sisters, Marie Henderson of Edinburgh and Carlene Schafer of Evans, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a sister, Eleanor Coats.
It was Julia’s wish that she be cremated and for there to be no calling or service.
Arrangements were made by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
