Richard and Nancy Schoenbein

Richard and Nancy Schoenbein of Columbus celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner at the Artist Colony in Nashville and a stay at Brown County Park with their children and grandchildren. They plan to take a trip to Italy this fall.

Richard and the former Nancy Cunningham were married on Sept. 10, 1966, at the North Limestone Presbyterian Church in Hanna City, Illinois, by the Rev. Pat Morrison.

Mr. Schoenbein is retired from Richie’s Remodeling where he was the owner.

Mrs. Schoenbein is currently working for Westat. She is retired from Jennings County Department of Child Services.

The couple have three children, Tonya (Lance) Tomplait of Sour Lake, Texas, Master Sgt. Joshua Schoenbein of Great Falls, Montana, and Jeremiah Schoenbein of Columbus; and nine grandchildren.
