Feeling ‘REJECT’-ed? Film on bullying Tuesday at YES

Indiana Youth Institute and its community partners are hosting a free screening of the documentary film “REJECT” as part of the institute’s Youth Worker Cafe series.

The event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at YES Cinema and Conference Center, 328 Jackson St. It is free, however the film is not recommended for children younger than age 17 and reservations are required.

The documentary examines the science of social rejection. During the film, viewers hear from victims and experts about the roots of bullying behavior and explores the potentially life-threatening consequences of rejection from family, peers or society.

A discussion will follow the screening of the film. Lunch is provided at no cost.
