Three companies in the construction industry donated their time and services to provide the United Way of Bartholomew County with new sidewalks in front of its building in Columbus.
The work was completed Sept. 16 by Milestone Contractors, Dunlap and Co. and Shelby Materials for their Day of Service project. The project was delayed a week from the actual Day of Service because of inclement weather.
