Ivy Tech Community College and IUPUC will host a panel discussion on censorship during Banned Books Week, observed this week. Each year, hundreds of attempts are made to remove books from the shelves of bookstores, libraries and schools.
The local panel discussion, noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, will be in room 1620 of the Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Avenue.
Featured panelists are:

- Patrick Nevins, Ivy Tech, English
Coffee, lemonade, water and desserts will be provided. Interested individuals are invited to bring their lunches, questions and thoughts.
