GREENWOOD — Edinburgh won the third set, but Indian Creek recovered for a 25-19, 25-16, 17-25, 25-19 win in Wednesday’s first round of the Johnson County Tournament.

The Lancers fell to 14-11.

Jets top Yellow Jackets

HOPE — The Hauser boys ran to a 19-42 win against Morristown on Tuesday.

David Seelye won the 5,000-meter (3.1-mile) race in 18 minutes, 12 seconds. Jordan Johnson finished third in 20:51, while Austin Everroad was fourth (22:10), Owen Green fifth (22:10), Hunter Albright sixth (22:12) Sam Robinson seventh (22:20) and Noah Benge 10th (26:29).

Neither girls team had enough runners to score. The Jets’ Tori Chandler won in 23:53, while Maleah Bates was second (25:04), Naomi Gollmer third (25:56) and Kristin Keith sixth (31:47).
