County Republicans are inviting the community to watch Tuesday’s vice presidential debate at YES Cinema.
Columbus native Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, a Republican, will debate Democrat Tim Kaine in the debate at Longwood University, Farmville, Virginia. The debate is moderated by Elaine Quijano, CBSN anchor.
The viewing party at the cinema, 328 Jackson St., is from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. The event is free, but donations will be accepted. The event is hosted by Bartholomew County Republican Central Committee, Bartholomew County Republican Ladies League and Pia O’Connor.
