Yiran Zhang and Jay Bowman, both of Boston, announce their engagement.
Ms. Zhang is the daughter of Jianying Zhang and Ronxin Chen of Shenzhen, China. She is a 2006 graduate of Shijiazhuang High School No. 2 and a 2010 graduate of Southwest University, both in China, and a 2013 graduate of Ohio State University. She is product manager at Staples.
Mr. Bowman is the son of Jeff and Ellen Bowman of Columbus. He is a 2010 graduate of Columbus North High School and a 2014 graduate of Indiana University and is an economics doctoral student at Boston College.
The wedding will be June 2 in Plymouth, Massachusetts.
