Yellowwood Drive

Geneva A. Warner, 84, of Yellowwood Drive, died at 8:43 p.m. October 6, 2016, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Geneva was born July 12, 1932, in Cortland, Indiana, the daughter of James and Edna Fleetwood Elkins. She married Dale William “Bill” Warner April 16, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1989.

She retired from Cosco and was a member of Flintwood Wesleyan Church. Geneva enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and all found her to be a joy to be around.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Wes Jones officiating. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Sunday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Flintwood Wesleyan Church.

Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Peggy Swafford, Patty (Earl) Sparks and Candy Henney; brothers-in-law, Chuck (Julie) Fox, Joe Ed Warner and John (Ivydean) Warner; and she was blessed with many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; sisters, Vallie Price, Alma Mahoney, Erlean Sigler, Martha Elkins and Mary Hankins; and brothers, Claude, Cliff, Clyde, Lester, Elisha and Gene Elkins.
