Indiana candidates for U.S. Senate debate tonight

The three candidates running in this year’s general election for U.S. Senate from Indiana will debate tonight in Indianapolis.

Democrat Evan Bayh, Republican Todd Young and Libertarian Lucy Brenton will participate in the 7 p.m. EDT debate originating from the television studio of public television station WFYI. The debate, which is organized by the Indiana Debate Commission, will be one hour long.

The candidates are vying to succeed U.S. Sen. Dan Coats, R-Indiana, who decided not to seek re-election.

In central Indiana, the debate can be viewed on the following Indianapolis-based television and radio stations:
