Columbus East High School senior Madeson Shehan, 17, will compete in the Miss Indiana Teen USA Pageant this weekend in Carmel. This is her first pageant.
She is the daughter of Gary and Cathy Shehan.
The pageant will be at the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts and begins at 8 p.m. Saturday, with the preliminary show that features contestants competing in evening gown and athletic wear.
The contest resumes at 2 p.m. Sunday, and the field will be narrowed to the finalists. The final five contestants will be interviewed on stage. The winner will represent the state in the Miss Tenn USA Pageant.
