National actor David Keltz will portray writer Edgar Allan Poe at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Park Theatre Civic Centre, 25 N. Madison Ave. in downtown North Vernon.
The public is invited and admission is free. Seating is limited and tickets can be picked up at the Jennings County Public Library, 2375 State Road 3 North.
Keltz, who lives in Baltimore, has appeared as Poe on stage and television across the United States and Europe.
The library is sponsoring the Keltz performance through the funds it received from the National Endowment of the Arts and Arts Midwest for The Big Read Program.
“This is once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I hope as many people as possible take advantage of it,” said Erin C. Moore, the library’s director of community awareness.
