Gerald “Bud” Tekulve, 75, of Trafalgar, died Monday, October 31, 2016, at his home.

Bud was born in Columbus, November 5, 1940, the son of Edward and Alta Roberts Tekulve. A self-employed auto mechanic. He enjoyed drag racing, race cars and also enjoyed collecting.

He is survived by children, Eddie (Linda) Tekulve of Avon, Indiana, Jon (Judy) Tekulve of Columbus, Buddy (Regina) Tekulve of Sellersburg, Indiana, Danny (Rhonda) Tekulve of Trafalgar and Sue (Bryan) Ramsey of Greenfield, Indiana; brothers, Mike (Connie) Hobbs of Columbus and Tom (Dana) Hobbs of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Elmer Tekulve; and a sister, Betty Hobbs.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. John’s Masonic Lodge, 4131 Rocky Ford Road. Private inurnment will be at a later date at Garland Brook Cemetery.
