Jenny’s Picks – November 10

I’m something of an Anglophile, but I do not know much about Winston Churchill, save a few quotes. I’m happy to spend some time with him during “An Evening with Winston Churchill, 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St. Actor and scholar Kevin Radaker will portray Churchill during a visit to the Waldorf Astoria in New York City, less than a year after the end of World War II. I always enjoy Tennessee Williams’ plays, but I have an admitted gap: I’ve never seen “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” in any format. That’s a shortcoming I can rectify during the Actors’ Studio of Hope dinner theater production of the play, 6 p.m. Nov. 11 and 12 and 1 p.m. Nov. 13 at Willow Leaves of Hope, 326 Jackson St., Hope. Information: 812-546-0640 and Facebook at Actors’ Studio of Hope or Willow Leaves of Hope.
