SEYMOUR — The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close U.S. 50 at Seymour for three days next week while railroad crews make crossing repairs.
CSX maintenance personnel have been scheduled to begin repair work at 7 a.m. Wednesday — weather permitting. INDOT anticipates reopening U.S. 50 at the rail crossing Jan. 14.
Meanwhile, motorists will be detoured around the U.S. 50 closure via State Road 11/Broadway Street, State Road 258 and Community Drive.
