William Earl Roberts, 79, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky. He was the husband of Rachel Collett Roberts who he married February 28, 1956.
He was born March 2, 1937, in Beattyville, Kentucky, and was the son of the late John and Rose Caudill Roberts.
He was a retired auto body painter and he loved woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel L. Collett Roberts; one son, Kenneth Roberts and companion, Pat; two daughters, Karen Anderson and husband, Eddie, and Kathy Roberts; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Kasey Roberts.
Funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2016, at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, with Robert Reynolds officiating. Calling will be from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday. Burial will be at Parlor Grove Cemetery at Waynesburg, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will include Eddie Anderson, Josh Caldwell, Kaimen Daulton, Greg Roberts, Heath Martin and Kyle McKnight. Kenneth Roberts will be honorary pallbearer.
