David and Connie Alka of Ohio Avenue will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their family from 1 to 4 p.m. today at New Hope Christian Church Family Life Center.
Mr. Alka and the former Connie Taylor were married Jan. 7, 1967, at East Columbus Church of Christ, by Earl Beatty.
Mr. Alka retired from Cummins Inc. and Mrs. Alka is a homemaker.
The couple have three children, Mike Alka, Andy Alka and Becky Alka Mouser. They also have 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
