La’mont Rivera Johnson, 18, of North Vernon, died Thursday, January 5, 2017, in Jennings County.
He is survived by his mother, Babette (Ritchie) Johnson; two brothers, Devin Short and Kenneth Johnson Jr.; and two sisters, MysDiamond Ritchie and Danielle Porter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth.
Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel with Chaplain Kevin Carty officiating. The Indiana Army National Guard Honor Unit will present a flag and taps after the service. Family and friends may call after 11 a.m. Saturday at Voss Chapel.
