Seymour
Mrs. Linda K. Clarkson, 70, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in Columbus, with her husband by her side.
She was born December 15, 1946, in Bunny, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Coy Busby and Barbara (Smith) Busby, who survives.
Linda graduated from Caraway High School, Caraway, Arkansas. She retired after 17 years with Cosco, in Columbus. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Freetown.
On July 1, 1983, she married Roy Clarkson at Bethel Baptist Church in Columbus.
She is survived by her mother; husband; children, Christina McCarty, Debra Newhouse, Scott McCarty and Darrell Clarkson; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert Busby; two sisters, Sue Hill and Carolyn Busby; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Family and friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday at Voss Chapel. There will be a service provided by the Carter Funeral Home in West Plain Missouri, at a later date. Burial will be in Flore Cemetery in Bakersfield, Missouri.
