Wanda L. Sutton, 72, of Columbus, passed from this life at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin.

Mrs. Sutton retired from Cummins Engine Company after 30 years of service. She was a member of Christian Church in Canton and enjoyed traveling the world.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Scott Bourland officiating. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to time of service Monday at the funeral

home. Burial will be at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Masonic Home Medical Center.

Mrs. Sutton was born February 24, 1944, in Crothersville to Frank and Lola Ballard Leathermon. She married Harold W. Sutton on June 2, 1962.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years; sons, Steven (Debbie) Sutton of Campbellsburg and Brian (Angie) Sutton of Columbus; grandchildren, Jeff (Jenna) Sheets of Washington State, Bryan (Courtney) Sutton of Indianapolis, Taylor (Rebecca) Sutton of Whiteland, Gavin Sutton and Sydney Sutton, both of Columbus; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Barbara (Gene) Wingler of Brownstown.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Leon Leathermon.
