Sunday art show to benefit Turning Point

A Columbus East senior is seeking to help Turning Point Domestic Violence Services through art therapy.

Bailey Meyer will hold an art show/gallery walk, titled Heart Show 2017, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Columbus East High School. A benefit concert will follow the show until 5 p.m. Tickets are $3 for students, $5 for adults and $10 for a family.

All proceeds from the day will buy art supplies to be donated to Turning Point as a form of therapy.

Individuals who would like to include their own piece of art — story, poem, picture, painting, etc. – are asked to text Meyer at 812-371-1900.
