Edward Nelson “Ed” Young, 56, of Commiskey, died at 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Survivors include his daughter, Savannah (Jeremy Helton) Young of Commiskey; his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Lowell O. Reid of Golden Valley, Arizona; brothers, John (Lora) Young of North Vernon and Robert L. Reid of Riverside, California; sisters, Lori Reid and Lisa Reid of Canyon Country, California, and Darlena Engleking of North Vernon; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Young.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon, with the Revs. Damon Marling and Kenneth Smith officiating. Calling will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the family for expenses.
