Southwestern Bartholomew Water Corp. has issued a boil-water advisory for customers west of Columbus on:
- County Road 550W, south of Youth Camp Road, to County Road 300S.
- Customers on county roads 225S, 250S, 275S and those east of County Road 550W on 300S.
Water service was disrupted when the water main was cut by a contractor on County Road 550W on Wednesday, the water company said.
A boil-water advisory is in effect when water service is restored until noon Saturday for the same customers.
Customers should bring water to a full boil for five minutes before consuming it or using it in cooking or food preparation.
