Melinda Ann Cain, 56, of Scipio, died at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at her home.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Cain; one son, Steve Cain of North Vernon; two daughters, Danielle Cain of Scipio and Melissa (Mike) Fletcher of North Vernon; her father, Donald (Dorine) Swayzee of Mitchell; her mother, Judy Lucas of Columbus; one brother, Rick (Cindy) Swayzee of Columbus; and five grandchildren.
The funeral for Mrs. Cain will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Scott Chastain officiating. The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. Burial will be at the Scipio Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home for funeral expenses.
