Rosetta “Rose” A. Brown, 66, of Columbus, passed from this life at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017, at her residence.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bingo, going to garage sales, fishing and gardening.
On May 24, 1950, she was born in Columbus, the daughter of Lark and Anna Belle Sexton Hill. She married Thomas E. Brown on October 23, 1989.
In keeping with Mrs. Brown’s wishes, cremation will take place.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years; children, David (Rachel) Mitchell of Columbus and Jeff (Wanda) Brown of Columbus; grandchildren, Jennifer Mitchell and Ellen (Nick) Messer; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom Hill and Randy Hill, both of Columbus; and a sister, Shelly Brown of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Brian Mitchell; and one brother, Ronald Hill.
