Jacquelyn Danielle (Kleine) Watts, 33, of Indianapolis, formerly of Columbus, passed from this life in Columbus.

Jacquelyn was born Jan. 11, 1984, in Seymour, the daughter of Ric and Peggy Barringer Kleine.

She received an academic honors diploma from Columbus East High School in 2002 and a BA in elementary/early childhood education with a Mild Intervention Endorsement from Butler University in 2007, where she was affiliated with the Delta Gamma Sorority. In 2011, Jacquelyn received an esthetics diploma from Honors Beauty College.

Jacquelyn had been a teaching assistant for Indianapolis Public Schools and an events coordinator for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Indianapolis. She currently was as an esthetician for Evan Todd Spa in Indianapolis.

Being an animal lover, Jacquelyn volunteered at Kentuckiana Boxer Rescue and IndyCLAW Animal Rescue, where she was also a member of the board of directors. Over the years, she has fostered multiple dogs and rabbits.

Jacquelyn had many interests in life, including spending time with family and friends, traveling and spending time with her husband Michael, reading, volunteer work and puzzles.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Watts, who she married May 14, 2011; her parents, Ric and Peggy Kleine of Columbus; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Jeffrey Brown, and their children, Jayden and Journee of Columbus; in-laws, Dave and Sandy Watts of Columbus; and sister- and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Sean Barrie, and their son, Connor, of Washington, D.C.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Thursday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Eric Johnson officiating. Family and friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Private burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
