Martha L. Middleton, 95, of Columbus, died at 9:20 a.m. Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
Martha was born in Bartholomew County November 9, 1921, the daughter of Melvin E. and Mina M. Morris Scott. She married David M. Middleton March 19, 1944, in Columbus. He preceded her in death March 12, 1995.
She had worked for Indiana Bell Telephone Company and Mountain States Telephone Company in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a member of Fairlawn Presbyterian Church.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated. A graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Garland Brook Cemetery with Chaplain Phyllis Hawkins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Employees Christmas Fund at Four Seasons Retirement Center.
Arrangements were made by Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street.
