Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, Columbus Regional Health and WellConnect are sponsoring the showing of a documentary, “Being Mortal.”
The 60-minute film will be shown at noon March 30 at WellConnect, 237 Washington St. The event includes lunch. An open discussion will follow.
“Being Mortal” documents the hopes of patients and their families as they face terminal illness. It investigates care practices for the dying and explores doctor-patient relationships. Its focus is on the importance of planning ahead and speaking with family members about end-of-life decisions to ensure patient’s wishes are known and can be honored.
