North grad wins medalist, leads Cardinals to title

RICHMOND, Kentucky — Sydney Anderson shot a 4-over-par 220 for 54 holes Friday and Saturday to win medalist honors and lead Ball State to the team title at Eastern Kentucky’s Colonel Classic.

Anderson, a sophomore from Columbus North, shot 72-73-75 at The University Club at Arlington. She won by two shots over runner-up Lily Pendy of Ohio University.

Ball State finished with a 900 team total to win by 13 shots over Ohio.
