Two Jennings County Sheriff’s deputies participated in a pullover blitz in March targeting those who were driving under the influence of alcohol.
During the 31 hours they worked:
- Five people were arrested on drug-related charges — totaling nine felonies and four misdemeanor’s
- One vehicle, a 1993 Chevy Blazer, was seized
- $57,000 dollars was seized from a search warrant
The sheriff’s department’s participation was made possible by a grant from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
