Steve and Karen Thayer of Scipio will celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary with a trip to Clearwater, Florida and Green Bay, Wisconsin, later this year.
Mr. Thayer and the former Karen Boyd were married April 3, 1982, at the Chapel of the Good Shepard by the Rev. Ralph Turney.
Mr. Thayer is employed at Columbus Regional Health in facilities engineering.
Mrs. Thayer is a retired hairdresser of 32 years.
The couple have two children, Wesley Thayer of North Vernon and Benjamin Thayer of Scipio. They also have one grandchild.
