Carter Jaxson Lee Collett, 3, of Hanover, died at 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2017, in Butlerville.
Carter is survived by his parents, Joshua Collett of Butlerville and Ashley Collett of Hanover; grandparents, Michelle (Lance) Rutherford, Kenneth Collett, both of Butlerville, Dennis Miller of Madison and Lucy Fording of Austin; great-grandparents, Jamie and Lois Hatton of Butlerville and Cammie Mitchell of Salyersville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Carson Collett; and great-grandparents, Jerry Miller, Janet Morningstar Speer and Raymond Mitchell.
A memorial service for Carter will be conducted at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Shelter of the Sheep Church, 2020 E. State Road 256, in Scott County, Indiana. Family and friends may call from 4 p.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday.
Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon were entrusted with the care of arrangements.
