The next Love Chapel mobile food pantry will be today at Ivy Tech Community College, 4475 Central Ave. in Columbus.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and food distribution will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
Love Chapel purchases food from Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana in Indianapolis for the mobile pantries and covers part of the cost. Gleaners leaders who visited Columbus recently said they are working to cover their shortfall for such pantries.
The next mobile pantry will be May 23 at Elizabethtown United Methodist Church, 200 Washington St. in Elizabethtown. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and food distribution will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
