Seymour
Mr. Glendon “Glenn” Guinn, 56, of Seymour, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017, at his home with his family by his side. Glenn was born February 21, 1961, in Berea, Kentucky, to Jerry and Frances (Bicknell) Guinn. He was a graduate of the Seymour High School class of 1979. He married Donna Kissel on Oct. 25, 1980, in Seymour. Glenn was best known for being “Papa” to his grandkids and he loved spending time with them. He also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors and he was especially happy when working on his CJ5 Jeep or taking it to car shows. Glenn was a diesel mechanic at Grammer Industries for 11 years.
He is survived by his mother; his devoted wife; his son, Jimmy (Ashley Mellencamp) Guinn; a daughter, Ashley (Andrew) Tarr; a brother, Gaylon (Brandy) Guinn; two sisters, Kathy Phillips and Debbie (Tim) Underwood; two grandsons, Brayden and Grayson Tarr; and a granddaughter, Delylah Guinn.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a granddaughter, Addaley Tarr.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with burial following at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Voss & Sons and from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday.
