Columbus police arrested a mother and her son after they located one of them who had been reported as a missing person.
Officers were sent to the 100 block of Carrie Lane at 7 p.m. Monday where they located Kyle G. Lewis, 21, Columbus, who had been reported as missing.
A Johnson County warrant for Lewis’ arrest on a dealing in methamphetamine charge was confirmed and he was arrested, police said.
Officers also arrested his mother, Heather S. Payne, 40, Columbus, after they confirmed she had a warrant for a body attachment. Both were taken to the Bartholomew County Jail, police said.
