Caleb Matthew Fish, 18, of North Vernon, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017, in North Vernon.
Born May 5, 1998, in Columbus, Caleb was the son of Adam Fish and Cathy Henderson.
Caleb was a 2016 graduate of Jennings County High School and a member of the Indiana National Guard. He was employed with Metaldyne in North Vernon for two months, had previously worked in Lawn and Garden for the Walmart Store in Seymour and had a summer job with Bartholomew County Parks. He was a member of Jonesville Christian Church in Jonesville. He enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with friends.
Caleb is survived by his parents, Adam (Tabitha) Fish of Columbus and Cathy (Shawn) Robertson of North Vernon; brothers, Jimmy Robertson and Cason Robertson, both of North Vernon, Ryne Fish and Spencer Fish, both of Columbus; sister, Baleigh Fish of Columbus; grandparents, James and Sharon Robertson of Lakeland, Florida, Rhonda and Rick Brown, Becky Hawksworth and David Henderson, all of Columbus, Rebecca Fish of Seymour and Cheryl (Charlie) Pendleton of North Vernon; great-grandparents, Joy Fish of Columbus and Margaret Clark of Jonesville.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shelby Elizabeth Robertson; grandfather, Tony Fish; great-grandparents, George and Irene Henderson, Calvin and Mary Fields, Charles and Ellen Bowman, Henry Fish and Betty Jean Personette.
A funeral service for Caleb will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2017, at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Stan Thomas officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service Friday. Burial will be in the Garland Brook Cemetery with military service provided by the Indiana National Guard.
