Foundation For Youth will highlight a record number of children served and other successes in 2016 at its annual meeting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at its facility at 405 Hope Ave. in Columbus.
About 200 children per day are involved in a variety of activities each weekday, said Chuck Kime, the nonprofit agency’s executive director. Those range from its Boys and Girls Club to its Community Health and Fitness program that are part of the foundation’s $1.6 million budget.
Some statistics that will be in the spotlight Thursday show areas of growth that have doubled or tripled during the past five years, according to its annual report.
Kime will offer a year-in-review look at the foundation’s impact, as well as presenting awards.
