Columbus police arrested a local man on three Bartholomew County warrants and for possession of methamphetamine after he was located in a local store.
At about 4 p.m. Wednesday, officers were sent to the 1800 block of North National Road and found Jayson C. George, 39, Columbus, and confirmed he had multiple warrants for his arrest, including three for failure to appear on charges of battery, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
When searching George, officers found a syringe containing methamphetamine in George’s clothing, police said.
