The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a flood warning for the Driftwood River near Edinburgh.
The river was at 9.8 feet at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday and flood stage is 11 feet. The National Weather Service is forecasting minor flooding, with the Driftwood rising above flood stage tonight to near 11.7 feet by this morning. The river is predicted to fall below flood stage by early Friday.
At 12 feet, the Driftwood will have lowland flooding in northern Bartholomew County, near County Road 950N to the Double Y Saddle Club.
