Gary L. McKinney, 75, of Columbus, passed from this life at 1:18 a.m. Sunday, May 14, 2017, at his residence.
He was a member of Parkside Baptist Church and enjoyed doing wood carvings by hand, playing the accordion and was a very good artist.
He was retired from Delta Faucet where he worked in the Damage Claims.
The funeral will be conducted at noon on Tuesday at Parkside Baptist Church, 1780 Rockyford Road, with Dr. William Bailey officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Mr. McKinney was born Aug. 14, 1941, in Lynville, Indiana, the son of Clarence H. and Valice Siebe McKinney.
He married Mary H. Thomas on March 3, 1962, in Winslow, Indiana.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years; his children, Teresa (Bruce) Bay, Tammy Broughton, Shawn (Amy) McKinney and Melissa (Todd) Streeval, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Andrew (Lindsey) Bay, Chris (Brittany) Bay, Josh (Ashley) Broughton, Jacob (Kelley) Broughton, Spencer (Larisa) McKinney, Haley McKinney, Mallory McKinney, Justin Streeval and Marah Streeval; and a brother, Jerry (Beverly) McKinney of Sunman, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Larry McKinney.
