New Dentist Joining Local Practice
A new dentist will join White River Dental LLC.
Dr. William Johnson, DDS, Greenwood, will join Dr. Aaron Strickland, DDS, in the dental practice, at 2459 W. Jonathan Moore Pike.
Johnson is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry and has 10 years of dental and anesthesiology experience. He has traveled with multiple medical teams on mission trips, providing dental care to under-served populations in developing nations.
Our Hospice Receives Award
Our Hospice of South Central Indiana has been named a 2017 Hospice Honors Elite recipient by Deyta Analytics, a division of the Web-based home health and hospice software, Healthcare First.
Award criteria are based on survey results from October 2015 through September 2016. Award recipients were selected by performance evaluation on a set of 24 quality indicator measures.

Grider Joins Bariatric Center
Southern Indiana Surgery and the Bariatric Center at Columbus Regional Health have a new bariatric nurse practitioner, Samantha Grider.
Grider will provide bariatric surgical care to patients, will work closely with individuals in the Medically Supervised Weight Loss program and assist Dr. David J. Lee, Bariatric Center medical director, with information sessions and support group meetings.
A Columbus native, Grider received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from IUPUC and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Indianapolis. She previously worked as a nurse practitioner for CVS Pharmacy as well as a cardiac nurse at Columbus Regional Health.
