Kari Orschell of Columbus and Ryan Whicker of North Vernon announce their engagement.
Ms. Orschell is the daughter of Lori and Andrew Orschell of Columbus. She is a 2001 graduate of Columbus East High School and a 2005 graduate of Indiana University. She is employed as a medical assistant at Wellspring.
Mr. Whicker is the son of Maggie Whicker and the late Dorsey Whicker of North Vernon. He is a 2002 graduate of Jennings County High School and a 2006 graduate of Indiana State University. He is an engineer at Cummins.
The wedding will be held at 9:30 a.m. July 1 at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church in Columbus.
