Pre-K students raise money for childhood cancer awareness

Staff Reports

The Busy Bees Academy pre-kindergarten class used a lemonade stand to seek donations for a foundation that raises awareness of childhood cancer causes. The class raised $784 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

Lemonade was sold by the students at the Busy Bees Academy art show, at the eastside Walmart and Columbus North High School. The C4 students at North assisted by building two lemonade stands.

The pre-kindergarten students had the help of community sponsors, and sold raffle tickets for someone to win four Holiday World Tickets.
