The Columbus Meridian Kiwanis club awarded five $1,000 scholarship to high school seniors who were Key Club members at their schools.
The recipients who received the scholarships at the June 1 meeting of the Columbus Meridian Kiwanis club were:
Reilly Jones and Mila Lipinksi, Columbus East
Charlotte Verbanic and Sai Pamidighantam, Columbus North
Ali Hoover, Hauser
Key Club is part of the Kiwanis International Family and is the oldest and largest service program for high school students. It is a student-led organization that teaches leadership through service to others.
Columbus Meridian Kiwanis sponsors the Key Clubs at Columbus East and Hauser high schools. Columbus Evening Kiwanis sponsors the Columbus North Key Club.
