One day after helping Columbus North to a fifth-place finish in the IHSAA Boys Golf State Finals, two Bull Dogs qualified for the Boys State Junior Championship.
Spencer Fairbanks carded a 75, and Drew Smith shot 77 Friday at Smock Golf Course in Indianapolis. Kody Reynolds, who will be a freshman at Columbus East, also qualified with a 78.
North’s Henry Kiel (81) and East’s Mark Mayhew (85) did not qualify.
The Boys State Junior is June 27 to July 1 at Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville.
