Prayer walk about opiate abuse set

A second prayer walk to help find solutions to Bartholomew County’s opiate abuse problem is planned from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at The Salvation Army, 2525 Illinois Ave.

Organized by volunteers, including Kyra Myers, wife of Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers, the prayer walks include testimony from families and individuals affected by addiction issues.

The event will begin with praise music and will include prayers led by The Salvation Army’s Capt. Alan Sladek.
