Gary and Candy Spiker of Columbus will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house hosted by their children July 8 at Asbury United Methodist Church. They also plan to take an anniversary trip to the Grand Canyon in the fall.
Mr. Spiker and the former Candy Moser were married July 1, 1967, at First United Methodist Church in El Paso, Texas, by the Rev. Cyral Stone.
Mr. Spiker is retired from Dolly Madison Bakery.
Mrs. Spiker is retired from Cummins.
The couple have three children, Melissa Begley and Jen Schlaudroff of Columbus, and Jeff Spiker of Cincinnati, Ohio. They also have eight grandchildren.
