Brian’s picks – July 13

1) OK, so anything known as Life-Size Pac Man has got to be retro radical and cool, so props to the Bartholomew County Public Library for organizing the activity at 2 p.m. today at the library plaza, 536 Fifth St. in Columbus for those in grades seven to 12. Character roles will be rotated after after each turn. Rain location is the library teen area. Information: 812-379-1266 or mybcpl.org.

2) If your Spidey Sense is tingling, it might be because missing the premiere run of “Spider-Man: Homecoming” at the nonprofit YES Cinema in downtown Columbus would be a bad idea. The title says plenty as the swinging webmaster Peter Parker comes home. He attempts a normal, daily routine — until the Vulture emerges. Tickets are $4 and $6. Information: 812-378-0377 or yescinema.org.
