Seymour developer buys retail center on National Road

A commercial developer has purchased a retail center on National Road in Columbus and plans to renovate it with a new facade, parking lot and roof.

TDAK Development Inc. of Seymour closed on a deal Tuesday to buy the former Bishopp’s Plaza building at 1629-1645 National Road for an undisclosed price.

The company, which is involved in the development and redevelopment of commercial and residential real estate, plans to revamp the structure for retail and office uses, including exterior updates and upgraded mechanical systems, said Rob Millman of Berkshire Hathaway Indiana Realty.

The new property name will be Regal Park Plaza, he said.
