COLUMBUS, Indiana — The trial of a former high school volleyball coach accused of molesting three different children over a 11-year period has been scheduled for early next year.
Bruce W. Giggy, 61, of 4210 River Road was arrested July 12 on five counts of felony child molesting regarding incidents alleged to have happened between 1999 and 2009.
All the alleged victims were younger than 14 during those time periods, according to documents filed in Bartholomew Superior Court 1.
During an initial hearing, Judge Jim Worton set 8:30 a.m. Jan. 22 for the start of Giggy’s trial.
